Default Brake Pad Clip??

Hey all you brake experts out there, the clip that holds the pad in the bracket is rubbing my caliper for whatever reason , my question is can i remove those two clips and be cool? The fit doesn't seem that different with them in or out. TIA

No, those "clips" (the brass looking, smooth metal guys the fit into the tops and bottom of the abutment bracket) are needed to give your brake pads a smooth path on which to move.

Try swapping the to ends or the sides ...

good rule of thumb with brakes: NEVER leave off stuff the factory put on. its there for a reason, even though it might not be apparent to you.
