prothane torque arm bushings backwards???

Default prothane torque arm bushings backwards???

Well, I was drilling out the rivets on the stock torque arm mounts when I realized this. Am I missing something?

HELP ME OUT, this is my DD, need to get back on the road

I'm not sure about Prothane, but let me say this about Energy Suspension... In their catalog and website applicaion guide, there are two different bushings, depending on the model year. It seems that at some point GM changed the shape of the torque arm's stamped shape.

You may want to double check if Prothane does the same thing.... Worst case, you can put the rubber parts back in using bolts, until you get it straightened out.

Shane was a great help to me. Thumbs up for Thunder Racing

Problem turned out to be that the smaller bushing goes into the bigger mount and the bigger bushing into the smaller mount.
