Angry Need help with a noise.

Hey Guys here is the problem
I have been chasing a noise forever it sounds like an old wood door any time my car hits any bump and i mean any bump. The car does it more with its hot outside. It’s coming for the passenger side shock. I have greased and lubed all metal to metal and rubber pieces on the front suspension but that didn't stop the noise. I took it to shop and they said it would cost me $300 to fix it. They said it’s probably the bearings on top of the shock and the spring mount. I didn’t know f body’s have bearing up there. Is that right? Maybe I can just remove it grease it up? Maybe it’s only a worn out shock? How hard is to for me to do it myself. I know I need special compression tool to remove the shock from the spring. What tools are needed? Has anyone else had the same problem? How did you fix it? What was it?

Thumbs up

LOL.......No bearings.
Are the upper 4 Spring/shock mount nuts/bolts tight, and the 2 on the lower control arm?
Maybe a loose nut on upper shock shaft?
Have you checked your sway-bar end links?
Even if their not worn-out dirt and road debris gets in around the bushings and can cause noise.

it was gone after i replace the shock. it was either bent or not tight enough, due to the fact that they spin freely when u tighten them.
