Default PHB? need help

I know nothing about PHB's, where can I find a solid one for a good price? And is it as highly recommended as I hear it is for a lowered car with rims?

UMI, BMR, spohn...just to name a few. It's a good idea to get one if you are lowered so you can re-center the axle.

These are all examples of "double adjustible", which I recommend, provided that you aren't supersensitive to NVH. Not only are the Rod-ends strong enough and provide little bind and deflection, but are also easier to adjust while still on the car.

If you are sensitive to NVH, then you should consider a Poly/rod-end version, or known as "single adjustible", and some which are "on-car single adjustible".

Thanks Foxxtron,

Here is what we consider a on-car adjustable panhard bar- www.umiperformance.com/2022

The panhard bar controls the side to side movement of the rear end by attaching one end to the chassis of the car and one end to the rear end. By lengthening or shortening the panhard bar you can move the rear end left to right. This is needed when running a wider tire or if the vehicle has been lowered. The panhard bar allows changes to re-center the rear end under the car once it has been lowered and to prevent tire rubbing in a wheel well when using a wider tire.

If you have any additional questions please ask and I will be glad to help.

Thank you!
Ryan

I have the on car adjustable one from BMR. Both my ends are poly meaning they have a bushing that a bolt goes through to connect it to the car. This means almost no squeaks or rattles over stock. One with rod ends is a piece of metal that a bolt goes through to connect it to the car. This means it transfers noise alot more. I had a rod rod and switched to a poly poly almost immediately because everytime I hit a bump it sounded like my rear was broken and rattled. The poly setup will "deflect more" because it has a little bit more room to move since it's a bushing. A rod end won't "deflect" almost at all because there is no movement on them therefore you have the extra noise. I have no additional noise with the poly poly setup. On car means you turn a connector on the bar which will move the body of you car left or right. This helps if you have wider tires or lowered because your center will be off. I would get on car adjustable. I have one from BMR and love it. It's almost a preference on the brand.

Thanks Ryanmgaspard,
We appreciate your support here at BMR. Your explanation of your panhard rod experience is common Although the rod/poly end panhard bar does not have as much deflection as the poly/poly panhard bar, the amount of deflection is very small. Our poly bushings are a very hard durometer and have very little deflection. Thanks again.

I have the chromoly on car adjustable rod from BMR. My car is lowered on Eibach springs. I also have a UMI upper panhard relocation kit to clear my upcoming 3" true dual system and they are both great.

For what its worth I prefer the BMR stuff because I like the "Black Hammertone" powdercoating that comes on the parts.

Also just something to think about if you plan on true duals at all...I just installed a panhard bracket onto the axle to drop the lower panhard because it was hitting the upper panhard.

You really cant go wrong with either product.

BMR and UMI all are similiar. You won't notice a difference if you switched between the two. I like the color choice from BMR so I chose them. I haven't heard anything bad about either brand.
