Default panhard bar worth it?

Is a non adjustable UMI panhard bar worth it? My car is stock and im not going to lower it, its an 2002 SS. I am curious to find out the gains over a stock one. Thanks.

The factory panhard bar can flex under load. The replacement bar from us is designed to eliminate this flex and keep the rear end more stable under the car. Also the factory rubber bushings can wear out and deflect.. the new panhard bar features new Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings which eliminates deflection as well.

If you have any additional questions please ask and I am glad to help.

Thank you!

I just upgraded my suspension with koni adjustables and strano springs. Amongst those mods I obviously needed a PHB. I got the one that came with Strano's HP1 package, the single adjustable one. I don't know if it was from the shocks/springs, or the PHB, but the rear tracks much better when making turns. Just something to think about.

if you ever plan on gettin a new rearend i would recomend adj. panhard. but, yes aftermarket panhard bars are much better. subframe connectors seemed to help me more than my panhard.

Hell yes the APHB made a difference. I did the strano/koni setup w/o it at first. The rear of the car was loose going into a corner.

I went with the double adjustable on car bar w/ poly/rod ends. The rear of the car tracks a lot better through the turns and the rear of my car is centered.

After you replace stock parts with good parts, i.e. koni's, strano, UMI, etc. You don't know how much the stock stuff moves/flexes.

I would suggest an adjustable one if you get one. You can center up the rearend if you get a new rearend ever.

The rear end can be off even if you are not lowered.

It does make a difference but I honestly would not even consider getting a panhard bar that is not adjustable, best to do it right the first time than need one later.
