I'm pretty sure hes talking about Koni shocks...
If thats the case, then yes you can use stock springs and there is nothing wrong with that. That was my first suspension mod, and the car rode and handled WAY better than stock.

What an interesting series of posts....
First, you can absolutely use stock springs and Koni's together. In fact aside from LANDONZ above (I only know of one other person no in love with how the car drives this way). And in this case I see no information about the shock settings, tire pressures, tire size all of which also effect ride quality. Maybe he just wouldn't like them, I don't know of a product in the world that is all thing to all people, but Koni's are as close as I've found, and unless he's running the shocks overly stiff for his stock springs (which you can easily do) lowering springs won't help soften the ride. The might if he's running damping more appropriate to the higher rate springs but that'd not be the shocks fault.
You don't need 1LE springs.
If you want the car to be crisp, well damped and go where you want, and be more stable including just tracking down the road better and you don't want the extra wheel rate that lowering spring give you, this is a great choice.

I agree Add a set of Strano sway bars and you will be very surprised how good your car will handle with stock springs.

im not saying you cant use them, because for sure I am doing it. But i was saying that I get beat to death! I have my rear set all the way soft and its still very bouncy! I havent figured out how to adjust the front while on the car yet, but soon as I do I will make sure are all the way soft as well and let you know

We are talking about Koni shocks, not springs (I wasn't aware they even made springs for our cars).

I have koni 4/3's on my car with stock springs. The car rides and handles great.Strano suggested that I use the hollow sway bars and man what a difference. The car is clued to the ground.I was shocked. My friend has strano springs and koni 4/3's also on the same year t/a.My car rides a little smother than his.The stock springs are just fine.Do the lower perch and heater hose mod and the cars stance will look better.Strano said there was nothing
wrong with the stock springs when we talked on the phone.
