Default Safest strut spring compressor?

I have an 00 z28 that i would like to put aftermarket shocks on, however the only thing from stopping me from doing it is taking the springs off the old struts and putting the springs back on the new struts. I work for a dealership where they have a wall mount strut spring compressor but it still looks dangerous as it has nothing to hold the spring in place if it were to fly off. What do u guys suggest as the safest spring compressor that's a reasonable price?

About the safest compressor is the wall mounted. Just be sure to get the spring set strait in the compressor and take your time. Nothing to be afraid off.
