Default What should my next suspension mod be?

Hey guys, I need a little advice.

I have a 2001 T/A WS6. its an A4. I'm looking to do beef it up a little before I order my Longtubes...any advice on what I should do to it?

This is what I already have on the car:

Subframe connectors
lower control arms
adjustable panhard rod (i plan on lowering it eventually)
315 nittos
mti lid
magnaflow exhaust

any help/input is appreciated. also, on whatever you think i should do, reccomendations of brands is helpful as well. thanks alot.

well im not trying to do anything too crazy. its my daily driver.

basically performance wise im going to put the headers in and maybe later on down the road a torque converter and hopefully eventually a cam.

but most likely i will just go as far as headers and tc.

i was thinking sway/strut bar, or something like that. but im not sure if thats necessary or not. pretty much just looking at my options at the moment. im open to anything. i have about 500 bucks to work with at the moment.

I recommend Strano springs and better shocks.

If your willing to spend as much on suspension as you are on other stuff, then I'd recommend Konis. Unfortunately most of the eggs go in other baskets for most people. Konis are the best choice for the best ride quality, handling, and ability to dampen most of the aftermarket springs out there.

First a swaybar and strutbar are two completely different things. Second the strut bar isn't really worth much. Swaybars are great but only if they compliment each other correctly. You have a 32mm front and 19mm rear with the WS6 package which is a decent combo for most. The other guys are pointing you in the right direction so listen to them. A call to strano would probably be a good idea as well though since not everyone has the same needs and he won't try to sell you on something you don't need. 500 bucks won't get you terribly far with suspension. If you aren't planning on lowering the car then you will probably be happy with the Bilsteins that Strano sells.

Shocks, dude, shocks. Bilstiens or Konis, like the man said, depending on whether you're going to lower it or not. Call Sam.

I drove my M6 car today that is still on stock shocks. Hit a bump in a corner and the wheels lost contact with the road. Ridiculous.

OP what size wheels do you have? If its a 18'' wheel in the back you may have clearance problems after lowering with a 315 series tire.
