Default mity-vac OK for bleeding the brakes?

installing new braided brake lines soon.

i have a mity-vac. can i use that to bleed the brakes?

i realize i won't flush the old fluid out of the ABS...but that's not a big concern.

any problems using the pump? other than making sure the res stays full.

I've used it, worked ok. Easiest way is still using someone to pump the brakes.

I've used it before, but not on my Firebird yet. It works well, but the pedal never seems quite as firm afterwards. I got some Russell self bleeders, but haven't had the opportunity to try those either. I say go ahead and use it, based on my experience.

I use it, beucse its faster to get fuild thu a dry line. But unless you use tape of a thick thread sealent somtimes it pulls air thu the bleeder threads. So its not working the best. But a always bet the best with the peddle bleeding at the end.

got my rear lines installed on the car.

used the pump and it seemed to work well.

it DID look like it was pulling air around the bleeder threads, but it still seemed to work.

the brakes seemed to be stiffer, but i'm not sure if its in my head.

i'll see what happens when i do the front lines.
