Default upper shock bolt

This may seem dumb but how do you get at the rear upper shock bracket. I tried looking underneath but it is in a tight place. Do I have to go from up top somewhere? I have a squeak up around there that has been driving me crazy.

Yes, its up to in the inside passenger compartment. You need to remove the panels and pull back the carpet and that will expose the upper bolt.

I had a noise coming from there also. I pulled back the carpet and the bolt had worked its way off the stud!! Hopefully its something easy like that.

Thanks guys. I found it. It wasn't the nut just some squeaky rubber. Nothing a little WD couldn't fix.
