i'm about to put a tranny in my GTO either this month or next and so far i can't find any local shops that i feel good about so i'm probably going to order one from Performabuilt. have you checked them out? if not they have a stage 2 rated for 700 rwhp for $1840.

I do not build automatic transmissions but going to a "basic" transmission shop for a unit that will hold the kind of power you are making is not a smart idea to begin with . I would personally look for someone that is into the after market scene and knows what parts need to be used to handle the power . Lethal Performance down here in San Antonio has an automatic builder that is suppose to be excellent in 4L60E units from what I hear . I've also heard their standard guy is pretty bad *** as well
