Default Pacesetter descision help

Here are my question.

The black painted ones have a 3 year warranty just like the coated ones.

Why not just get the black: is there a sound or performance difference?

I no i should get more expensive ones but i have had a set before and loved them (i had coated) thats why im curious about the noncoated becase i found them wayyyy cheaper. and i am broke
Thanks in advance

i think the only difference is the way they end up looking and of course the resale value when you decide to take them off and go with something else. the black painted ones from what i've seen look like they rust up and discolor pretty quick and end up looking like total ****, but should actually perform the same as the coated ones. They say that the coating on the coated ones makes the air flow better, but i'm sure the performance difference is very marginal at best

The ceramic coating will keep the heat inside the header where it belongs. I did kooks stainless and i wish they wer ceramic coated like my hookers were. Keeps underhood heat down alot.
