Trap, sporting clays, or skeet in houston?
Before anyone else says it lol, lmao, roflcopter, ha ha i said skeet skeet skeet
I have recently moved all my guns fromup north to my house in pearland and would like to go shoot some trap.
Does anyone belong to a gun club on the south side, or anywhere around the houston area that has regular shoots or meets?

That's the Pearland Shooting Club (PSC). My dad is a member there and I've been with him a few times to shoot. You can shoot skeet, rifles, shotguns, and they have a tactical handgun course you can go through.

I went here weekend before Christmas and will go back. Very nice place. They have alot of different ranges and several skeet areas set up. Its a very well built place.

I guess I didnt look at it that way and it is a good deal if you shoot alot. I dont shoot enough to make it worth it though. I might hit the range twice a year, and I only spend 20 bucks each times, so that only equals 40, so I save 110, lol. I just looked at their website, its 150 plus 50 or intiation fees, plus tax, 215.50 for the first year, then 150 after that, plus NRA annual membership is required. Like I said, not worth it to me to shoot a couple of times a year.

The place off Westhiemer Pkwy is called American Shooting Range I believe. Its a nice place and they have plenty of shotgun activities. It may be a little far from you but check it out if you feel like driving over there.

I jumped on the beltway to westpark tollway to hwy 6 to westheimer and was there in around 30 minutes. It takes about that much time to get to Psc. Bailys is also another range in Pearland. Its not the greatest for trap or skeet, it has a single load only rule on the rifle range, but the pistol range is decent. I go there when I need to make sure my deer rifle is sighted in before the season and when I want to shoot my pistol. Carters country in Spring is ok for skeet and trap but they are pretty expensive in my books. I know on there rifle and pistol ranges they charge per person and per gun. American Shooting centers charges for the first gun, then half price for each additional gun. Which I think is reasonable.
