Default Clutch and header install questions

well its time for a new clutch (my spec 3 didnt last that long) and i am curious what kind of clutch would be best for me. Pretty stock 2002 z28 (lt ory cutout intake) . I want something that will LAST . I am not looking for the clutch to launch the **** out of my car, although i do street race. Any recomendations???

For the headers i am curious how i should go about uninstalling and installing the headers because the previous owner welded the stock y pipe to the pipe goin to the catback. I am just wondering how i am supposed to get that weld cut and then drive it home to install the new headers and ORY and then drive it back to get it welded again??

I must second the LS7 clutch, just got one installed and feels great, drives great and holds the power. I'm making 355 rwhp with full bolt ons.

Just use a sawzall and cut right behind the weld and use a tiewrap to hold it up while you drive to get it welded back together.

just an fyi for ya, when i put the headers on my formula it looked like the y pipe was welded to the I-pipe catback, but after sawzalling my was through it the y pipe just fell right out.. so yeah it might not be welded at all lol

lol I wouldnt do it with a hack saw. It can kind of be a pain in the *** with a sawzall if its at a bad angle...

And I think 75% of everyone who doesnt drag race the **** out of their car has an LS7. Its a good clutch for anything from a bolt on, to a h/c/i car.
