Default Competition?

2011 Mustang GT. I think ford wanted to give Chevy and Dodge a real competition, for once.

It's not the same "5.0" quickblade, just happens to have the amount of displacement. It's not even going to be a pushrod motor.

I know its not the same.. just feels good to talk crap about ford and say they have the same ****.. LOL

I know they are changing it.. but what I really meant is they should not of ever left from the 5.0 displacement.... That was a mistake that they made in the 90's...

LOL...that is well put...

from the article, it says the 2011 Mustang will come with an estimated bone crushing 400HP, with an estimated TQ of 400 ft lbs...

So once all is said and done, emissions and what not, there will be a nice
348HP with 360 ft lbs of torque... so overall they are still going to fall short.

WTF are you talking about?
a 3500lb car with 400BHP will beat a 422lb 3850lb car. 22hp does not make up for 300+lbs.

????
WTF are you talking about???

I made a statement that clearly says...

FORD FAILED AGAIN......
LOL
Ford cannot put out a vehicle that is under powered against a GM machine.
any car that Ford puts out that has same power as a GM vehicle, even if the gm vehicle is heavier, will still lose!!!!!!!!!
But they didnt put out same power.. They are guestimating that its going to be 400HP... So as in my earlier statement, we always know they overrate themselves....

So after emissions and all is said and done... Ford is going to end up with a 2011 Mustang weighing 3700lbs, and putting down 360HP......

they will not work..... FAILURE.... they redesigned a engine to get 60 more HP..... another win for ford.. LOL

has been proven over and over....

Est. 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque? That would have been on the money back in 2005.

i just dont understand why Ford still sticks with such a small engine.why dont the exparament with something closer to the 5.7 or 6.0.i give props to the terminator.but why stop production on them and continue making cars that fall short?

Emissions.

LS series engines are very efficient. The LS series two valve heads are outstanding as we all know.

The 03/04 'bras are bad ***. SVT did a great job. However, the an Eaton made it a terminator, not the SVT forged 4.6. Now GM caught on .

takes one to know one I guess...

What I really find funny is the fact that alot of people get all butt hurt over things... We are on the internet... talking ****... LOL

If you take everything so serious, maybe should not be getting on here and reading...
I hate ford!!!
But dont go around calling you an idiot because you drive one.. I am bashing on ford.

So you are thinking they did something great bringing back the 5.0
and dont like my **** talking comment about how they are behind, yet other people say they are behind.. INCLUDING ford....

But you start getting mad and getting butt hurt.....
WTF ever you want to think... as stated in my posts that make me look like an idiot.. I am talking ****....
