Default Who Plays Forza2??

Wondering if anyone could help me out with a lil problem with My C6 Z06... Fker sucks in the twisties!! it's either just roll through the turns with Very slight throttle, or it's *** slingin sideways and full throttle drifting through em..Now the *** slingin is fun and all but It doesn't help the tire wear in long races, lol.....tried my hardest to set it up to be more Road Course friendly but I havn't succeded much....Maybe i need to take some of the mods off??? yeah it's pushin 987hp, lots of Tq (don't know the exact number)..has full suspension, blah blah blah, you name it, it has it...cept the goofy looking body kit and wing...trying to keep that ugly crap off..

You have to install the spoiler and ground effects. They really make the car handle better, not only in the twisties, but also at high speed.

Damn! I saw Forza 2 in the title and hopped on it. If our 360 wasn't taken apart, I'd get my little brother to build and set up one for you. The kid's 16, but a genius and making cars handle like their on rails.

Honestly, start with dialing back the power a little. What's the point of having all that power when you can't use it? Dial her back to 500-600 and see how she behaves.

Well the problem with pulling that much power out is that I'm in the middle of the Viper vs. Vette races and the damn Viper Comp Coupe leaves me behind pretty easy, at least with the high hp I get it in the straights...

He's pulling you through the corners? Is it a stock Coupe?

yeah, it's the Competition Coupe, the Street Legal race car lookin one, and yeah, it sticks to the corners pretty well...ended up taking the Turbo set up off the C6 and it did wonders, not so much power right away when I lay into comming out of the corners and still has enough acceleration to stay ahead....wwwaayyyy ahead

dont bother pulling the power back. i have a C6 Z06 and it handles great. it does still swing out a little but its very controllable. mines 987hp just like urs. i like to use nurburgring times as a gauge to how fast a car is and for tuning. iv ran a 7:15 in my vette and a 7:04 in my hennesy. but i think they both have alot left in them. u think tuning the C6 is bad? try getting a U class LS7 SS to handle.

I pulled it back for the track I was on, it was "sidewinder" or somecrap like that, some 3.75miles around with lots of tight turns and the track was not so wide, as for the Uclass LS7 SS, I have one as well, funny thing is I can layinto that car in the turns and walk it thourgh easier than the Vette

A weight reduction and tires alone should put that coupe behind you. Got to outdrive him though. Are you racing against the Henn. and Lingenfelter, or just stockers?

Was just the Vette vs. Viper races, that was the last track I did and the only one I had trouble with, the others was just wide open in the straights, and easy through the corners, that perticualr track had like 2 straights, so it was more "off" than "on" so to speak

The fully adjustable differential will also do wonders for the high HP rear-wheel drive cars.

Also changing the final drive ratio in the well i think its under tranny options but it should be rearend gear.... Turbos that make alot of power usually are hard to handle because wonce it spools its just spin spin spin. Change the ratio will make it harder to spin and should still be pretty fast!

Best is to not over mod the car, think about it, your not even racing any more, its like a time trial.... i dont even play time trails in any game, well i mess around on the Nurburgring too lol

I mess with the tuning a lot. Some cars I have the acceleration part set all the way to 0% and it still doesn't completely stop the *** end swinging around...it's not bad though.

My class B chevelle is probably the worst. Nothing helps that car.

Solution: turn on traction control.
