A couple of guys at my last mill were into building and playing around with them. They can consume large quantities of cash. But, neat as hell to see one of those little buggers catch 15 feet of air off a ramp.

i have a t-maxx they're fun to play with once you get the hang of tuning it. upkeep can be pricy and when you crash them "IT SUCKS"

My son has the T-Maxx and it is a lot of fun to drive except I get all crossed up when I am driving directly toward myself... left... no no .. the other left... Anyway, he had it out last weekend and almost missed a light pole. It is really interesting how the replacement parts list reads like it was a full size truck hitting a light pole.

the Jato at the bottom can reach 65mph in stock form i believe. a few guys at work have them and are always tearing them up racing and what not. the parts are expensive for there size but its still cheap.

i've got a friend with a TMAxx, and another with the Revo. they are both awesome and alot of fun. the amount of aftermarket parts and accessories is insane.

No bullshit, we actually traded ours for a running and driving Lincoln Mark 8, the one with the mustang fuel injected motor in it.

first of all get the traxxas brand, they have great parts availablity and they come with the ez start

also if you want to go fast in football fields and just normal bashing get the revo

the t maxx is good for curb climbing and off road but is a little tall for fast turns, the revo is a little shorter and has better suspension for high speed stuff, t-maxx would be better used for slower off roading

now if you are a speed freak get the jato, it cannot go off road because the power to weight ratio is too crazy and it will not hook even at 1 mph, that little 2 stroke nitro motor will hit the powerband too quickly even at 1/4 throttle you will just spin in circles off road in the jato

but the jato 3.3 in a big parking lot is awesome, 55mph wheelies 0-60 in 4.2 sec in stock form, you can gear it differently to go even faster

on pavement you still cant give it wide open throttle til 55+mph or it will flip over on its back

i cant tell you how many wheelie bars i have broken off

i have found a new respect for these things, the jato is $400 and can power wheelie at 50+mph and do it all day long and they are reliable for what they are and cheap to replace for what they are..... pound for pound they are badass

to do a 50+mph power wheelie in a f body or silverado you would need like what 2000hp??? and then the 2000hp car will break and cost thousands of dollars to fix something minor..... you blow a motor on the jato and your out only $150 bucks!!!

^^^ I was looking at a jato 3.3. I have some friends that have eletric cars. If it were scaled up to be a real car it would go about 700 miles an hour.
