Default Need tune-up List for 04' Suburban @ 100,000

'04 Z71 Suburban At 100,000 miles- Need a Tune up.

AAMCO rebuilt the transmission and added an external cooler @ 75,000

What items does the Stealership check and what do they replace?

Fuel filter
Air Filter
All Belts
All Fluids

What else? I want to put a list together.

My wife called and quoted her an absolutely ridiculous number.

fuel filter . . . and it's in the tank
air filter if it needs it
all belts - there's two, main, and a/c
fluids - CHANGE the trans and put a new filter in . . . do not do a "flush" most places use the same crap over and over, with an in-line filter, so its the same crap.

dump a can of Seafoam in the tank before you fill up at the gas station, and that's good for the injectors

use some brake cleaner on the MAF, just hose it out, but don't touch anything

Fuel filter is in the tank?!! Is it a bitch to replace? (Drop the rear or easy access?)

the filter is inline, the 05 and up are in the tank, the z flex fuel filters a little harder to do than the regular 5.3 t motor, at my job we reccomend
trans flush
coolant flush
tb clean (these are badabout having low idle due to dirty throttle body)
flush the fuel injectos (not really needed)
and maybe transfer case and front and rear diff. if its 4x4
the price is crazy like 800 or something wish you were closer i could do it cheap

yup inline, but the filter is alittle hard to remove you need a disconnect tool to get one side off and a 5/8 and 13/16 wrenches to get the other side off
