Im in katy,west houston or san antonio .. how much am i going to be lookin at for a window motor install?

any suggestions. Is it an easy install (even for someone that sucks at installing stuff)?

Window motor install runs about $160 at most places I checked. Install itself isn't too hard, but I've seen a few free fixes people have done to the motor itself which seemed a bit more difficult.

yea i have searched and read about some of thosebut i always manage to screw something up when i install something myself so i will probobly go with a shop

its very easy... I installed both sides in about 1.5 hrs a month ago and it was my first time doing it.

do it yourself... there are writeups all over the place VERY detailed.. save some money!!

I do it myself... but there is a shop on the south side around 610 and 45 that does them for 65... you bring the motor... I don't know how much they charge if you need the motor from them though..

my passenger side will stop going up or down periodically. motor going bad? should i get one from O'Rielly's or the Chevrolet dealer? sorry about the thread but didn't see a need to start another thread on the same issue.

I'd get that one. Looks like the top one is just a re-manufactured unit maybe for 15 bucks less? You don't need the regulator. I have done them a few times, just find a good write-up and it's really easy.

you can get it from autzone with lifetime for like 50-55 bucks..
