WTB a Sig 9mm.... what do you suggest and what price?
I went to the range with a client on Sunday in Garland.... shot off a few clips in the Sig 9mm and a Glock 9mm ...... I like the Sig much better... smoother and more accurate for me. (I am a pretty good shot I must say, dang 20/10 & 20/15 vision and a steady hand helps)
What are your thoughts on the subject?
I don't want anything stainless or that is flashy

I was looking at their 239 for a carry gun but it was awkward in my hand. Grip seamed too small for the amount of weight on the nose and it felt like it was going to fall out of my hand. It is nice and compact though.
The 250 felt pretty sweat in my hand and you can change caliber although to do that is about the cost of a new gun. I only own one Sig and it is their worst gun so i don't know much about them.

Any suggestion is just going to be an opinion, and probably based on circumstances that don't match yours. My serious suggestion would be to shoot a bunch of different models to figure out what works best for you, especially if you're going to spend this kind of money. What to get depends on what you want to do with it, your hand size, experience (some are more prone to have problems if not handled correctly), etc.
The first person to reply didn't like the feel of the p239. I happen to really like it. I'm happy with my 9 mm XDm right now as a shooter, but a p239 is on my short list for a carry weapon. It will work for me, but not for others. I'm interested to get my hands on a p250 as well.
Luckily, the good thing about shooting a bunch of stuff to decide what to get is that you get to shoot a bunch.

I (DPS) duty-carries Sig P226 DAK (runs about $950 w/ night sites) and it is an awesome weapon. Over 10K rounds and never a jam or stove-pipe. Although can't say our firearms instructors had the same luck with the P229. They issued it to some of our Troopers that have smaller hands (women) and some have issues and some don't. Me personally, I think the problem with the P229 was a user malfunction.
But I think Glock makes a very good weapon for the money. I off-duty carry a Glock 33, due to the P226 being too big to conceal. Although if I could conceal the P226, it would be my preference.

I have a Sig 229, a SA XD 40, and a mini Glock 40. My favorite to shoot is still the Sig but the Springfield is pretty comparable to the smoothness and feel in my hand.
If I were you, I would look around at the pawn shops or even gun shops. No reason to buy brand new unless you just want to. I think when my SIg was purchased, it was around 700. I paid 550 for the Springfield Armory XD.
I got the Glock for 250!!!

It's "magazine" not "clip"
Ive shot the 220 a handful of times. Never really liked the feel in my hands but if it fits and feels good for YOU then that is all that matters. Go to a gun show and pick up and feel as many different handguns as you can. That is how you make your choice.
Sigs tend to be a bit more expensive than guns of comparable quality. Just something to think about.

I carry a Sig P226 or P229 all day every day. I love my Sigs. But I suggest buying a .40 caliber or a .357Sig rather than a 9mm. They are the same price but if you buy the 9mm, all you can shoot or carry is 9mm. I have .357Sigs and a 9mm barrel that I can throw in for shooting cheap ammo at the range.

uuhhh, 30 yards, 3.5 inch grouping? Are you sure it wasn't 30 feet? How many shots? Free standing or on a stand? If you are grouping like that at 30 yards with at least 10-15 shots, then you shoot a hell of alot more than most or you were lucky.
