I thought you were going to say something like you were fired at the end of the day. I know deductibles suck but hopefully your honest co-worker will offer to pay for the damages. Kudos for them for being honest!

My friends brand new IS350 just was dented at work and the a-hole never left a note or notified security. My friend has to fork out the dough for that fix, or rather he's going through his insurance.

^ i wouldnt hold my breath. alot of times people think they are going to to pay you 150$ to fix something like that. they dont realise that thats probably 700-1500$ worth of damage. and they freak when hit with the bill and know they are going to have to come out of THEIR pocket 500+$. then they start trying to weasel out. and unfortunately, that guy could say 'i dont have the cash' and theres not SH*T you can do about it, cause you dont have any proof, even though he said it.

....and on that note, to the OP, you should take care of this NOW. the longer you wait the worse its going to get, because that guys probably thinking of ways he doesnt have to pay right now. get that car looked at, and get with your co-worker to get it taken care of.

My moms boyfriend did the same thing to my car this summer. The only reason I wasn't pissed is because someone had hit-and-ran on the same spot almost. He had everything fixed thru his insurance.
