well i mean domestics can make a legit arguement here, we can't change cams without getting "into" the block. imports for the most part can. besides how will they know...

no..its because most of the import motors that are used in racing are cast iron blocks..we can boost the hell out of them!!!

even the aluminum 4cycl blocks can handle up to 1000hp with just some mods to the water jackets or re-sleeving the cylinders..
