ive been deep sea diving 3 times, on our last encounter. We saw what was a 10ft unknown shark lurking in the distance, the instructor signaled for us to come back up. I never swam so fast in my life lol

the sharks around here are nurse sharks, reef sharks and an occasional hammer head. the water is to warm here for tiger sharks and the bigger more aggressive ones. they have to stay in cooler water to keep their metabolism slow. just keep your distance and a watchful eye on them. the cudas and the moray eels are what i watch really close

Ugh, Hammerheads. I was sitting on my 12' kayak anchored about a hundred yards off the coast down in Surfside, hooking Specs with croaker, and ended up with a 4-6 foot hammerhead on the line. Scared the holy **** out of me. I thought I had a big *** Red until I fought it close enough to see its rectangular head as it flashed its white underside about 2 feet away from my dangling leg. That was a mouth big enough to take my foot clean off.

Needless to say, after it broke off while I let the line back out and it got tangled in my stringer, I pulled anchor and hustled back to dry land. I was shaking for a couple of hours after that incident.

yeah i wouldn't try to catch and release that one i'd just release like cut the line like right f'ing now!! lol but they are the most timid of the sharks. they say if you get a really good look at one your extremely lucky because as soon as they see you they haul ***.

I enjoyed the hell out of that I have a video of one of the moray's comming after me LOL! I was one of those people who got too close LOL! But I was quick enough to give it a brush off with my fins it was about 6' long. The rays just surround you and are hitting you from all sides it was nurve rackin at times trying not to step on them but I would do it again for sure.
