Motor swap problems

Default Motor swap problems

I HAD A 5.3 BORED TO A 5.7 SO I COULD HAVE AN IRON LS1 TRIED TO PUT IT IN AND THE MOTOR MOUNTS ARENT LINEING UP IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN THE 5.3 MOTOR MOUNTS AND THE 5.7 OR AM I JUST STUPID AND NOT DOING IT RIGHT CAUSE ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF. jUST DROPPING THIS MOTOR IN SO I CAN DRIVE IT UNTIL MY MOTOR IS DONE AND ITS STARTING TO STRESS ME OUT. sO SOMEONE HELP ME OUT AND TELL ME WHAT IM DONG WRONG I HAVE PUT ALOT OF DIFERENT MOTORS IN THIS CAR AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM.

Motor mount location is the same, I know there isn't a bolt hole on the front of the motor to hold the powersteering or alt bracket. You usually have to drill and tap that to make it work. But I am pretty sure the motor mounts are located in the same spot and should work.

sounds like you might have to slot the motor mount bolt holes on the mount itself. let me know whats up. if worse comes to worse drop a line if you have any other questions!!
