Default Run in with a new caddy xlr-v

Comming home from work today, I had some fun. SERIOUSLY minding my own business a black xlr rolls up next to me and hits it when he gets even with me. I instantly notice a familiar roots blower sound (AKA 03-04 cobra noise) and he shoots by me and slows back down. He (low 50'ish age) then rolls his window down and asked me if i wanted to "try'em out". We slow to about 20mph and we go, i pull pretty hard and slow back down. He then says "lets try that again". We then go about a 40 roll, he got the jump and actually took me all of third gear (3.42's) to start to walk away.

I tried to do a little research when i got home and it appears to be a 09 xlr-v due to the blower noise i heard. Anyone know much about these beast? Shows to make about 442hp.

btw, this race took place in mexico.

Sweet.

I get crap like Volvos and Infinitis that want to run me. I know some are relatively quick for what they are, but damn....

my father inlaw has an xlr minus the blower, they are pretty quick but nothin to an ls1. it has the northstar motor in it(dual overhead cam and i think like 32 valves something like that. it is more of a crusier than a hot rod in my opinion

Not quite. It's built on the Vette platform, but the motor is different and it's a much heavier car (and also much more expensive relatively speaking - the XLR-V is ~$100K+). A C6Z will blow it away performance-wise for less money. But that hard top convertible and caddy luxury is very nice.

Nice...... Well I had a stroked out mean *** CTS-V blowing everyones doors off on the freeway the other day.... A vette, then me, then some rice.... So yeah I would say when they are done up they can run...
The CTS-V I seen was on 190 and was Black....... He has some weird stickers on the rear window, but from the sound of the thing, OMFG he had some mean exhaust...

Not sure if this is the one RPM did, but I heard RPM did a mean black one that was putting down like 600HP...... not sure

Yeah, the CTS-V has the LS9 from the ZR1 in it and it's a 4000 pound 4-door sedan, not the 2-door XLR-V convertible.
