Default Joe & Craig, finally scanned the photos (TA & GTO)

Like I was saying last night, my rides back in the day. They were a lot of fun as well as being a big pain in the ***. The TA pics are circa '85 and the GTO about '87.

Craig, don't get any funny ideas as obviously that's not me standing next to the goat...hehe.

Hard to believe there was a point and time when guys wore Daisy Dukes. Glad I wasn't old enough.

LMAO, trust me, those aren't Daisy Dukes.

Short-shorts yes, but not Daisy Dukes.

Metallica! Texas Tapes 'n' Records, Pasadena, Texas. February, 1985.

We skipped school that day and took the GTO to meet them. We later went to their gig at Cardie's (remember that place on Westheimer?) where all of about 200 of us banging heads to "The Four Horsemen", "Ride The Lightning", "Seek And Destroy", "Whiplash", "Call of Kthulhu", and many, many others. That was a night I'll never forget.

I'd certainly love to get another. I will down the road some time. Only this time it'll be a 4-speed.

Meeting Metallica when they were at their most freakin' awesome had to be incredible. If I met them now I would be like - Hey whats up? What happened to like your talent and stuff...

Meeting Metallica back then, at the time, wasn't that big of a deal. Almost nobody had heard of them and to be honest, Cliff Burton was a bit of an *******...but that's ok, at least I can say, and can prove, that I met that cranky mother ******.
