Post Help!!!

So i go to start my car in the morning to go to work. But no start, so i had to call in. I notice my security light is on. I've never had any problems with it before. I really dont know anything about the alarm, so if anyone has any advice that would really help. Its not an aftermarket alarm.
Thanks, Jerry

sounds like the little chip in your key has gone bad. if you have another key it will most likely start right away

Its funny it started when i tried it later on. i dont think its the key because the security light was on before i even put the key in the ignition.

You set the security thing off. I did this a while back in my LT1 camaro. I forget how long you are suppose to wait but i think its a few minutes then it will reset its self. Its a security feature.
