Default computer help (music files)

how do i transfer my music files from my desk top to my lap top?? well besides burning them to cd ..

Get a switch or a router, share your My Documents/My music (where ever you keep your music) folder of the host machine. Then go My Computer/My network places/Current Workgroup. Select the target computer and navigate to where your stuff is. Or search google because I am a horrible teacher.

Flash drive is always useful, and cheap.

Agreed with the flash drive idea. There's a handy app I've found called AllWaySync that does a great job of keeping files in sync on multiple computers. They have a free version on their web site that I've used often for this sort of thing.
