Default what kind of sealant/glue is used on windshields?

One of my friends was driving earlier and stripping on the top of the windshield came about halfway off... what type of glue/sealant is used to get it back on? Can it be bought at walmart?

Thanks.

The glass uses urethane sealant, not sure about the trim piece. I know Autozone has it in 3M.
