I've always gotten lifetime alignments at Firestone. That way I pay once and get the alignment rechecked for free every 6K miles after that. The "lifetime warranty" is nationwide so you can go back to any Firestone. It makes tires last much longer too.

+1 for firestone.

i'm not saying that they are necessarily the best, but once you get it done a 2nd time, you have broke even. keep an eye out for coupons from them too. some stores will accept competitor coupons too.

do you remember how much it cost you at firestone? I am doing tie-rod ends, upper/lower balljoints, and strano springs w/ koni shocks in the next few weeks so ill definately need an alignment.

really? the kwik kar I work at does them for 69.99, that is with the new 'laser' alignment system. No warranty on it though, maybe the $150 is for firestone?

the firestone lifetime alignment is 169.99ish, but as previously stated its good for as long as you own the car, just take it in after the first one and any firestone will check and realign it for free. we also have a one time for about 69.99. also use a hunter laser alignment machine. if in las colinas go to 5410 N. Macarthur and ask for Son, he's very good and very fast.

i've always been told to do the alignment with the tires it will be driving the most with. i dont think it will really make a difference, because the alignment specs are the alignment specs you know, if the possible differences worry you, take the skinnies with you and see if they will recheck after its aligned. that may cost all of $20, and thats because they would be changing the tires. of course be sure to call and check with the manager to see if he'd be cool doing it, i know mine would. i was close on the price, i just work on the cars and let the desk folks worry about money
