I havent gotten a chance to check out any of the meets, yet. The ones Sarge mentioned are the only ones I know about.

I just moved to SA also. How is the drag strip on fri/sat? Good amount of cars?

Drag strip is at Marion (Exit 598ish Santa Clara Road) on I-10 east from S.A.
10 typically to watch and 20 to run. Tech is mixed on how strict they are depending on whos working that night. Also turnout is usually mixed also, some nights you can make 8-10 runs and others you're luck to get in 3 passes.
