Guys with FI cars!
Guys with FI cars does your car run hot in this heat?Everytime I seem to turn my A/C on damn temp gauge goes up quick. But when I turn it off it drops again. What does anyone suggest to solve this problem. Also my car is an Incon Twin Turbo car!

The electric WP really helps at low speeds. That's usually where my temp climbs the most.

The main Item you will need is a aftermarket radiator. Have the fans programmed to hold a cooler temp then stock with the 160 stat. I just got my dewitts radiator so I'm good now from what I understand...The electric waterpump is a nice piece but the gpm is constant. The mechanical water pump is what I would rather have. I like knowing that when I stand on it, the mechanical pumps is pumping even more water based on RPMs.

God I remember the hot days with my old blown 94 Mustang.
230+ with the a/c on in traffic
The ole BTM saved me many days
I finally put a pusher fan in front, only helped a little.
Make sure you on a safe tune in this heat.

Well no aftermarket radiator for me, and well durring the day it runs warm with the A/C on like 200-210 in stop and go traffic on the fwy no issues at all. I feel the factory fans are the best if you can use them and that kit allows it. And if you added a FMIC and you removed the plastic deflectors that go from the top of the radiator and condencer to the front bumper cover then you will want to put them back. If you are still running the twin IC that came with the kit. I would look and make sure that the both fans are kicking on and that they are running on high etc...I have worked real hard at this and feel I have a real good grasp of these cars etc... You without the S/C to limit fans and radiator selection an aftermarket radiator would help a whole lot it is hard to beat volume and cooling capacity of a Ron Davis, Griffin, Becool, Dewitts etc... But the plastic pieces and checking the fans opertation are a lot cheaper to start with. My TT car has all stock cooling other than a 160* thermastat and changing the fan engagement temps, and doesn't really move off of 180-185 at anytime with A/C in the day time. GL.

Though its a stang, I'm having issues as well. First when I installed the new motor a piece of "something" was logded between the radiator and fan. On initial startup it punched a hole in the radiator(fluidyne) that was unrepairable. I had a new stocker sitting around so i threw it on. Then the fan conection was loose and the fan was coming off and on depending on bumps in the road, lol. I have a 180 thermo and fan setup to always run.
I think my biggest problem is not having my turbo piping coated. I plan to coat it before I go out and buy another fluidyne.
