Got a New Toy Today
Well, I found a really good deal on this. I wanted something that I could take specifically to the track and have some fun with it on the streets. I am changing out the whole interior to black, doing the 5 lug conversion, and have some M/T drag radials due in tomorrow.
It's a 1990 LX Coupe. It's real clean and has good power. It has a billet 331 with electric water pump and fans, blower cam, canfileld heads, pro-systems carb, cobra r radiator, fully built c4 tranny with trans brake and line lock, 3500 stall, built 8.8, full suspension, tig welded 8 point roll cage, aeromotive fuel system, stainless headers, flowmaster outlaw exhaust, and a Vortech Z-Trim Cogged blower set up. There's a ton more, but haven't really gone through the whole car yet.
The body is real straight and the paint is near perfect. Power windows and locks work great. I had it delivered from Detroit and it got here today. Gonna do a couple things to it this week and take it to the track Friday to see what she runs! Currently, it is making around 600rwhp on 8lbs. of boost. That won't last long though!
Here are a couple pics from the gentleman I bought it from. I'll get some new ones tonight.

Thanks!
I will keep the Weld's for the track and will run some 18" CCW's for the street. I wasn't a big fan of the Weld's, cause tons of Foxbody's have them, but they actually look pretty good on the car.

Since the inlet of the supercharger is 5" and is pulling air in from behind, they have it routed to take air in from the cowl. We may try to re-route it to pull it from either the wheel well or from the grill. I agree, it looks different, but it seems to be functional. We will start looking things over tomorrow to see what we can make more efficient.
