Default Any One Looking For Some Motor Side Work

Looking for someone with good experience to come look at my firehawk. Its having a bad tick and not knowledgeable with the Ls1 motors. Willing to pay but need someone reputable or from a performance shop or something. I have a video of what the car is doing and looking to get fixed asap. Just gonna see if someone near the allen, plano mckinney area needs some extra cash in this economy...

If no one is wanting to make some extra cash what who would anyone recommend to not rape me on shop charges and get it done the first time around.

I'm guessing that you're referring to the knocking noise that it's making. That's no "tick" . . . it's a spun rod bearing that's just starting or some bad lifters.

Have you had any recent engine work done?

first off that video is too dam dark to see where you are at with the car (front or back).
second it could be anything from an exhuast leak, a bad lifter, a bad rocker, maybe even a spun rod bearing, but i doubt it. check your exhaust gaskets first, see if they are leaking from the header flange, you should see black from where it is escaping. if thats good pull the valve cover and check your rockers.
