Got screwed I got stopped for hauling *** by DPS. Then he said my car was too loud. I told him I had to cut the muffs off to replaced my clutch "which I did do a few days ago" cause I got a custom X and its welded. Well he looked under my car and said that was unacceptable. All that I have is long tubes with the x pipe and thats it. He came back and gave me my 2 tickets. MAN

Honestly, I don't see how he screwed you on this one. You installed an X-pipe on a car with longtubes, no cats, and decided not to install any type of muffler. It should be no surprise this exhaust was going to be loud, to put it mildly. Going WOT is going to attract attention, whether you want it or not. I can understand being being a little irate because you got caught, but I think the cop had good reason to ticket you on those two points. You play, be prepared to pay. Hopefully they're not too pricey.

Dude. You really have no reason to bitch. You were breaking the law and got caught. Everyone of us that runs around with illegal exhaust is playing a game of Russian roulette. You're lucky he only gave you 2 tickets.

ATLEAST add some resonators soon after the headers that look like cats. With any dumped exhaust I have made I started buying some e-bay stainless high flow cats and gutting all the ceramic material out of the body. For one it refines the sound, and mainly they appear to be cats. Of course they wont totally offset having no muffler at all.

dude you getting mad at this cop is kinda like if you fucked a ***** and then got mad at her because she gave you herpes. certian things you should just know not to do and if you do them be prepaired to pay the consequences.

I got pulled over late one night in my neighborhood for having loud exhaust. Had 2 chamber 3" Flowmasters on it without tailpipes. Cop was going to write me a ticket if I didn't rev it up. I revved it up, pissed off the neighbors at 2 am and the cop let me go.
