Default Will my friend's car beat mine?
I have a friend that has a profile on here. I don't know his username, but I just got an auto '05 GTO, and I was wondering who would win in a race.

My GTO is 100% stock and is an A4.

He has a '99 Trans Am WS6 which is also an A4, and his mods are:

MTI clear air lid, K&N filter, ASP UD Pulley, TB bypass, SLP MAF, Hooker LT, Custom ORY w/ electronic cutout, SLP Dual-Dual catback

I would probably give his car the edge, especially if it's tuned with those longtubes.

It's nothing that a good launch couldn't make up though.

You ACTUALLY should get him! barely If you beat him off the line. Well at least I know my 04 goat would be right with him and all I have is cai,catless mids and its m6.

Money on the T/A. My buddy, RedlineT/A, has an auto firehawk with a CAI and LT as his only mods and ran a 12.8.

Given about equal driving skills, he will be more than a car ahead. Even stock vs stock he would beat you. Weight, my friend, is the enemy.

it wont be pretty... 2+ lengths depending on how high you go, worse the higher you go obviously..

and to the guy with the 04 m6... are you lying to us or yourself?

UPDATE!!!

I just found out he also has an LS6 intake, Jantzer ported TB, ported 243 heads, comp 228/231 cam, 373 gears, and a 3400 stall. Will that make much of a difference?
