Northstar 1/8 mile tonight.
I'm planning on going to the Northstar Dragway (1/8mile) tonight for the Fun & Grudge thing, I heard it was for street cars?
I don't really know much about it, but I heard you just pay and try to get in as many passes as you can? I tried calling but I guess they're out to lunch lol.
Anywho, if I do end up going, what would be a acceptable 1/8 mile time for me?
Intake + full exhaust LT1, M6, I can't launch on the street, probably not on the track either
I know the basics, but I am essentially a track virgin.
Should be fun

Well I'm back!
Had a lot of fun and met some pretty cool guys.
Anyway, my results;
7 runs total, I'll just post my first 3 and my best overall.
All runs were no burnout, just a spin to clean off the tires.
1st run:
I didn't really bother with reaction, so no I wasn't sleeping lol.
.5489 reaction
2.38 60 foot
6.11 330 foot
9.19 1/8 mile et
80.53 mph
Ran against a GT500 with an older guy, actually beat him with the ET, but he left earlier and hit the finish so the win was awarded to him, he ran 9.23 at 83.80mph.
2nd run:
.6299 reaction
2.39 60 foot
6.10 330 foot
9.17 1/8 mile et
81.12 mph
This run was against a newer GT Mustang, dunno his mods but he ran a 9.04 at 80.19 mph, and he was doing huge burnouts on what looked like street tires.
3rd run:
.5214 reaction
2.28 60 foot
5.96 330 foot
9.02 1/8 mile et
80.99 mph
Won this round against some truck that went 9.46 at 74.29 mph.
Cooled down, looked at my passes and realized I can't launch. lol.
Best round of the night was my 6th pass which was an "Arm Drop" race.
2.6965 reaction
2.28 60 foot
5.94 330 foot
9.00 1/8 mile et
81.23 mph
This was against a Fiero, non GT model, beat him, he ran a 10.08 at 67.77 mph.
I try to tell myself I didn't do bad since I saw an LS1 TA auto running 9.5s all night.
My GF did get videos, so when she sends them to me I'll get them up here for you guys.
Let me know what you think!

Haha yeah, I would like to go out there with some people I know that actually race, that way they can tell me what I should try to do.
Other than that, its just me, the nub, going down the track lol.
