Does anyone live in edinburg or mcallen that goes out to the international raceway on friday nights or know of any meets down here?

Yep, what supersam said... Im on the southtexasfbodies site.

On thursdays there is a meet on 10th and Trenton at the Best Buy there. All types of cars, imports,f-bodies,vettes,stangs,bikes and trucks. Its pretty big.

And the track, wish I could tell ya more. Have yet to take my car, and have barely signed up on the STFB site, so don't know when they have gatherings at the track.

I went once when I met up with a few friends that ended up going... last week. Not to sure around what time it starts, Im sure its after best buy closes and the parking lot is clear around 10pm maybe. From what it looked to me, its different car clubs that gather up there.

I'd be down to check it out again though.

There are car cruises, just gotta keep an eye on local forums to see when there will be a cruise.

go to battlegroundtx.com ..... its a RGV / HOUSTON based website... with meets at the track, around the valley, course racing, and carshows...
