69 were produced (don't remember how many were Stage III) and, yes, there are more than a few here in Texas.

I think the cheapest phase III's were selling for upwards of 200k, the problem was, not everyone had the option to buy them....Some were ebay exclusives, and your right I think that one ZL1 Phase III on ebay sold for closer to 350k. The ZL1 Phase I I think was around 115k...IF you were invited to buy one, but only 69 people were even invited to buy one, it was not a open to the public sale.

Too me, they are no where near worth the money that they might have sold for. Give me a 1969 ZL1 and I would be happy. They are worth a lot more money then this 1 ever will be.

WAY more cost efficient to have a motor built. In and of itself, the engine in the GMMG ZL1 Camaro is (IMO) nothing really amazing or anything. Nice engine but way overpriced.

it is way over priced. It is more of a collector's car.
You could build the same thing for 30 grand.

Mine are not the ZL1's, but I have two of the GMMG Performance Editions 2002 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Camaros. The T-top is a 550 hp Phase II and the Vert is a 630hp Phase III.
Yes, they are expensive, but they are also collector Camaros that are fun to drive.
The '69 ZL1's were not that expensive when they were first built, but in time they increased in Value. Given time, these GMMG Camaros will increase in value also.
....and I am in Texas!

Original price of a 69 ZL1 was an astounding $7300. It was so pricey that the Gibbs Dealership that ordered the 50 cars had to call GM and ask them to take back the cars. This was the only time that GM bought cars back from a dealership. The Gibbs Dealership managed to sell 13 of these cars by 1972. Only if we could go back in time, I would buy all of them at that price.
