Default T56 Needing to be Rebuilt, any help?

My buddies T56 just went out in his 03' Z06(Locked up in 4th), we are gonna pull it this weekend and looking to take it somewhere local (Houston) to get it built, we need a quick turn around time though and looking for some upgrades (Steel 3-4 fork, bronze fork pads, carbon blocker rings ect, and we want to Drop it off saturday and it be done by the following Friday) can anyone recommend a shop that can do this?

I thought when LMR was rebuilding a T56 it was Joe. Is he not there?

Give jason over at TDP a call 817-300-6840, he did mine for like 825.00…quick turnaround he said it would be three days..well he was calling me in about a day and a half and it was done. The guy is professional and can answer just about any question you throw at him. Hell I called him at 930 last night and again answered my questions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

If you want to ship it. Jason at TDP could have it built with in a day or two with all the best parts. But he is in the DFW area. Hell if you want call him up you might be able to drive down here let him build it and drive back the same day.

As stated, Scott is the only one building t56's. He has over 800 under his belt. Give LMR a call and they can fix you up.

There are a lot of write ups on how to rebuild one. If you can find the parts at a shop, or have a site overnight it, its not very hard to do and can be done in a couple of days. It will save your friend alot of money. Once I had the parts I put it back together and had it in the car within 2 days. Just depends on how good yall are with mechanical stuff.

In Houston, I would ONLY use LMR to build mine. They can do stock builds all the way to some BUTCH *** strength builds.

Let me revise my statement based on new (to me) information. It has come to my attention that Icon does T56 builds also. In general, LMR and Icon are the top two and usually only shops I recommend when it comes to most things. I didn't recommend Icon as I simply didn't know they did tranny builds. I've had Mike do work for me before and he has good attention to detail and is a stand up guy. I'd pick LMR as my first choice from a volume of builds standpoint, but you CERTAINLY can't go wrong with Icon. I wouldn't hesitate to give them my business for most anything and would lose ZERO sleep over any work they do. Late Model Racecraft and Icon are the only two places in town that have my unqualified trust working on my vehicle.
