Roll down the windows and pull the fuse so they can't roll back up.... unless you have manual windows then nevermind. No law states that your windows have to be functional to pass inspection.

Is the inspection of window tint part of the state inspection requirements? If so, the inspector could require to see the windows, if he/she so chooses. If he/she can not see the windows, then the inspection should be stopped. Right?

Not taking any sides on whether the tint/inspection laws are good or bad, just throwing out a hypothetical question...

Yes, if the tint is too dark then you fail inspection. They can't inspect them if they can't see them and not all vehicles have side windows, just say they don't work.

Just make sure you don't follow the owner's manual and disconnect the battery before removing the fuses. I disconnected the battery which cleared the computers memory and I failed to pass the emissions test. I have to drive around for 100-150 miles now and take it in to retest.

You should've posted up. Anyone with a Tech 2 can force the EVAP test to run without driving that far. Just did my car yesterday from clearing codes, and it's ready today. Now I just need tires. And they can't force you to roll your windows up.
