Bought my first handgun (Beretta PX4 Storm)
I've owned a shotgun for years. I haven't fired a rifle or gun since I was 9 years old. Being 30 I thought I'd be pretty rusty.
I've seen a few gun threads on here so I thought some of you may appreciate this thread. I bought a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm. I took it to the gun range today.
This was only about 10 feet. I was just happy comparing to the rest of the folks in the boxes next to me that were all over the targets.
Disclaimer: I am a rookie and I know there are much better on the board. Just had fun first time out.
BTW, the laser sight is pretty useless. All the inner shots are just using the guides. Laser shots are outside rim mostly.

The best thing about it is they made it feel really good in your hand. Fits like a glove and well balanced. If I had it to do over I probably would of bought the .45 caliber version.
From what I can tell it's accurate and I had a marine/constable drool over it saying how awesome of a gun it is. I tried a Springfield sub compact and that thing is great too.
The guy in the box next to me offered to let me shoot it. I was able to chip away at the bullseye with it. I'd had people tell me sub compacts are not accurate. I disagree.

They're all pretty accurate at 10'. Its further away that you notice it. I don't plan on sniping with my conceal weapon though.
I looked at the PX4's, but got an XD40 sub instead. My wife has a P239 in
.40 cal also.
The pistol I would stay away from is the Sig P250. We rented one and it caught a bullet straight up in the slide and had multiple failure to fires. You'd squeeze the trigger and nothing. Didn't do anything but sqeeze again and it would fire. We tried the P238 and it had a some failure to fires also. I read Sig had a recall on some of the P238's for this though.
