Default I hate west texas

Ok so..huge snow storm in the panhandle...no biggy, I've driven in worse, ...what I didn't realize is it snow/sleeted for hours before the snow fell so there is literally 4 inches of ice on the road and my driveway...

Even with my A/S tires for snow/ice I couldn't move, it took both my camaro's to even get my z28 out of the street.... tow rope style....

I hate this state....im moving somewhere where it doesn't snow!!!!

Now I'm stuck at home with no food "I gave up...not worth the risk" and acute frostbite of my finger tips....

Ok rant is over.

Looking out the window here at work. Going 30mph- to work on a 30 mile drive this morning. Still managed to get the car halfway in the ditch this morning (TWICE) but was able to keep going and get out. 2nd time was scary because i was looking at a pole about 20 yards in front of me. I made it ok though looks like i'll be drive 15mph on the way home.
What you see is ice/slush this was before it started snowing. Plainview, TX

I wouldn't push it that far. Born and raised in Corpus, moved to Austin, and never looked back. Seems like everyone loves Corpus unless your born there.

LOL I didn't "push" C.C. cause I agree a city like Austin blows it away but its nice to have the beach 10 min away esp. since the family has a 2bdroom condo at mustang island...can't hurt! Either way Corpus, San An, Austin, H Town all great places to live.... I do miss the DC area where I lived for the past 4 years but you can't beat what you can get down here for the price (house wise)

Very true. Growing up around the beach has its advantages.
