Houston area guys running vertical radiator, pusher fan Q's
Ive ordered my griffin radiator, and now im looking for fans. Problem is, all the people except for 1 that suggest what fans to run are in cooler climates.
this car is my DD for now, but in the next few months will become a toy with a frontmount turbo, regardless, it will get drivin hard in the heat, stop and go traffic, etc and i need fans up to our heat.
I have a 160* t-stat and i noticed last summer that when the car stops moving or never gets above about 40mph it runs in the 200 to 210 range until i get the speed up or shut it off for a while to scrub the heat, obviously a turbo wont help.
the rad i bought is the griffen model everbody uses, pn GRI-1-25241-X, 27.5 wide 15 tall and 3in thick, lookin for suggestions on fans and any other ideas to keeping it cool,
thanks guys

Royal Purple purple ice???
I think rubbing alcohol or something helps with cooling when you mix it in with coolant.
For fans, I would guess that dual puller fans would flow more through the radiator. But if they won't fit you should try to choose fans based on airflow and looking for less bulky fans that would restrict airflow across the core. In other words, good luck bump haha
