Friday night, the 19th, i was burglarized. so just as a reminder to all yall, keep the windows closed, the doors locked etc.
I live in the Bermuda Woods apartments at 1500 witte rd, just north of Memorial City Mall. Friday evening i went to work at 530pm like i always do, sometime later my mom went to the grocery store. when she got back, the computer, TV, and Sieko wrist watch were gone.
computer was a 5 year old dell laptop, tv was a 2 year old sony auquos 37 inch, and the watch was sitting on the table next to the computer. they also got the laptop bag, charger, and accessories for it. took the remote for the tv too.
I think they knew what they were after because there are a few things throughout the town house that they missed, and would have been obvious to anybody, this includes guns in gun cases in my closet. they also completely skipped my garage, which contains all my tools and etc., although it is well secured.
They got in through the back door that Mom left unlocked, our patio gate opens up to the road that goes through the complex.
im not open to criticism so please dont waste your time posting it, this thread serves as a warning to all that it can and will happen to you.

damn man, have a garage sale and just get you a cheap $400 lap top from frys or newegg.com so you atleast have internet access and such.

jk man that sucks. thats why im glad i dont live in town anymore. ive had more busted windows on my truck than i can count. doesnt matter where u live, if u can get in, so can they

It sucks to hear this, because I grew up in that part of town, and my folks still live around there.
I've got a ton of computer parts lying around, so if you want to build one, let me know.

well i sprung for a new Compaq Presario laptop from Micro Center, 450 bucks and its way better than what i had so im not complaining.
as for who jacked em, My mom always used to leave the blinds open on the front window and theres a busy walkway right outside. Both tv and computer are clearly visible through said window. so basically it was somebody who lives here or somebodys friend. i always told mom to close the window or this exact thing would happen, but, who the **** am I and what the **** do I know
