Default Curb rash..Anyone know how to fix?

So my fikse have some curb rash and I called wheels of america and they charge 135+tax per rim to fix. I think it's too high for just curb rash. I read in another thread where someone did wheel repair on the side, I wanted to see if anyone has done this in the dfw that can help me out or have a hook up somewhere. Thanks guys. If you need pics I can take some.

You can definitely do it yourself if its just rash and no dents etc.. I did one of my polished aluminum wheels last weekend, took a little over an hour to do. I found a great thread on corvette forum, steps are in this thread.. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...lips-pics.html

I guess it depends on how deep the rash is too.

I repaired a set of TTII's. They looked like trash when I started but turned out great when I was done. Just give it a shot, it's not that hard, just a lot of file work, sanding and polishing.

I just called and they are better priced. I think I will drop them off today.
