Default anyone running a 224/230

I am about to install a cam within the next week or two and was just going to go with the 224/224 @ 112 but have been told that i can get a little more power with a better lope with the 230. Let me know if you have any advice. Its going on a 2002 z28 full intake, LT and ORY to cutout , 6-speed. daily driver

I would not go any smaller than a torqer V2, but thats just me. They make great power and driveability is excellent.

BTW i it is 231/234.

Lope is a factor of overlap so you can have a tiny cam and still have it chop real good. Power is a different thing totally. Nothing wrong with a 224 cam they still work good, but there are a lot of other cams out there that still drive just as well and make more power all around. Like I suggested to you in your pm. GL! And at the power levels you are talking about don't get carried away with what others have done and expect exact results, instead just use the info and decide what you think is going to fit your needs. There are a ton of opinions on what a good DD is so be weary of what others tell you. Make up your own mind.

That is some excellent advice. I could not have said it better myself.
