Default Is this a scam?

I am selling my car and I received an email and this guy wants to paypal me the money plus money to ship the car to him? I feel like it is, but what should I say? This is what he emailed to me. Thanks for the help guys.

" Hi, Thanks for your response,i am glad you want to sell this to me as
requested....I am actually away on the sea right now that's why i am
making use of a shipping company to have this picked up from
you.Further arrangements will be made with you in regards to the pick
up once i have paid you.I agreed with your price..

Do you mind if i add my shippers fee to your payment and when you get
my payment, you can help me transfer their charges to them via western
union since i do not have access to Western Union here at the moment.

What's the PayPal email to send funds too ? Do you mind emailing me
with more pictures too since i won't be seeing this in person ?

I understand PayPal has a 3.9% PayPal charges will be including as well."

its a scam. nobody talks like that, so its probably some con-artist sittin at his computer in his undies at his apartment in beijing, just waitin for your car or to send you a virus or something. if you still want to pursue it, ask him to leave his phone number so you can call him when he gets back to "the states". chances are he'll say he doesnt have a phone or he just wont reply.

I wouldn't do it. Even on ebay, if someone sends payments from another country I don't accept it. I usually put in the aggreement, only sold in the US. Even if they offer more I don't take it. If you get stiffed there is pretty much nothing you can do. Only way I would do it would be cash in hand or check from a bank.

yeah sounds like scam... a while back on here this lady bought a tahoe from a "seller" and she pay pal'd him the money or wired it or something and he was talking just like that email you posted above and she got stiffed... dont do it unless you get what ever you askin in your hand or in your bank account then, give the keys and title to the shipper and part your way with the transaction... otherwise, nah, better safe than sorry!

It's a scam. Here's how they do it...

They offer to pay your asking price plus more for the "shipping" or "delivery guys". You get the check not thinking anything of it. You deposit it into your account, which takes a few days to clear. You send them the shipping or extra money. They get that money because at that moment, it's in your account. The delivery guys never come. Then, a few days later you get a call from your bank saying that the check didn't clear and you have overdraft fees because you withdrew more than you had in your account.

So in the end, they make off with some money, and you get screwed.
