Default Car fell off dyno at school

It was pretty crazy, happened so fast that nobody even moved but we were all sort of expecting it. The car slowly drifted off and the strap snapped, he grabbed the wheel and hit the brakes quickly though. It happened right under 130mph, wasn't even in the power band yet.

Can't wait to dyno my Trans Am lol..

Well that's your fault lol. He's a cool dude though and yeah his car is pretty much decked out as far as it can go. Next up is the heads, he already has full bolt ons and a cam.

I really can't remember that well but he didn't jerk the wheel. He said it was when he shifted that it jerked a little bit. I remember watching him reach up to catch the wheel when it fell off.

looks like he moved the wheel, but if it did indeed jerk, that means he wasn't holding on to the wheel. tard in my book

holy ****, what an idiot!!! what did larson say after that? i bet he was ****** pissed!!! man that could have ended up very very badly, i bet he will never let another ******* fwd vehicle go on the dyno...

i have dynoed many cars on the dyno including mine, it's competely safe as long as the people strapping it down are smart about it, i mean it's not rocket science... i strapped mine down right and dynoed at 334 and 314, and even some people on this site have dynoed there cars on that dyno and had it dyno tuned by people... i'd take my car there any day, just fyi, a lot of those kids are idiots, no offense retardedpenguin, im not talkin about you im talkin about some of those other kids...

Should have crossed the straps and held the wheel. Completely the operators fault.

Well I have had my car on that dyno and the kids strapped it down, but I looked at it and also made sure it was correct and no straps were touching the exhaust etc... So there are a number of factors that play into it not just one single thing. Its a good thing they had the wheel stops or it would have been bad. Mr Larson is a very nice guy.But I am sure that they learned a very valuble lesson about getting too comfortable with strapping down a car etc...
