i have 2001 z28 A4 80k on it.. i purchased a cooler and 3600 tc for it, but now im having second thoughts about going through with the install. my car will only be a street car..i would hate to have it installed and have the tranny blow and have it take the converter with it.im also looking to adding a cam later on and maybe heads. But im in between holding off on the install and saving for a rebuilt tranny. i looked at peformabuilt trasmisions stage 1 rated to 500hp i think but dang its $1,600.00..im on a budget sooo yeah thats alot of doe..but if its the safer way im guessing ill hjave to wait and save up... anyone know what something similar to the tranny mentioned above will run me locally (HOUSTON)??

i also bought the cooler as well as some gauges , i dont know if i should go ahead and install those now or hold off on it...

any input from you guys will help...
